The year 5 and 6 girls had the opportunity to play in a tournament organised by Manchester United Foundation. The girls were up against four other teams in their group. The girls were slightly nervous to begin with and took a last-minute goal in the first game. We went into the second game confident and eager to win. We didn’t concede any goals and settled for draw. We had a break and a good team talk discussing how we could improve. The next game saw us conceding one goal again in the last minute. The girls were playing amazing and were very eager to score. The girls went into the final game on fire with Hatti scoring a hattrick and Scarlett scoring one. We finished fourth in the group stages. I am pleased to say the girls were excellent role models and their behaviour was exceptional. It was a pleasure to accompany the girls to the tournament. They all had a great time!
