Limehurst After School Club Childcare Provision
The Limehurst After School Club is a school led and school operated after school club that provides childcare assistance. The club is based in Nursery.
Limehurst After School Club will offer affordable child care provision during term time.
The Aims of our After School Club:
▪ To provide all children with a warm, secure, happy and stimulating environment.
▪ To recognise children as individuals with their own particular needs and talents.
▪ To give children time and space to work at their own pace.
▪ To treat all children and their families with equal respect.
Activities:
Club offers many activities, ranging from board games, arts & crafts and sports. The children have access to the EYFS provision with both indoor and outdoor play opportunities. Limehurst believes that the club should provide a wide and varied curriculum for children and its aim is to make sure that every child's needs are met and they enjoy attending the club beyond the statutory school day.
After School Opening Times:
After School club is open Monday- Thursday, from end-of-school day to 5.15pm (collection from the School Nursery. Please ring the bell by the door opposite the portacabin).
Registration and Fees:
To register please collect a registration pack from school office. Information held about the children is strictly confidential. All records are held in accordance with the new GDPR Regulations which came into force in May 2018. Fees must be paid in advance of each session. All sessions booked must be paid for even if children do not attend. If sessions remain unpaid your child will be unable to attend after school club until any debt is cleared.
Prices:
From end-of-school day until 4.30pm - £5.00 per session
From end-of-school day, after 4.30pm and until 5.15pm - £6.50 per session (sibling discounts are available)
How to book a session:
Bookings must be made via the online booking system. Details of how to do this will be confirmed once you have returned the registration form’. We would appreciate that all bookings are made well in advance but with a deadline of 12pm on the day of the session you would like your child to attend.
Collection of Children:
Please ensure your child/children are collected on time after each session. If for any reason you are unable to collect your child you must inform the school office or an After School Manager (07494 403422 after 4pm). We cannot let your child leave with anyone other than you, without prior notice and/or security password. In the event of a child not being collected on time a late charge may be imposed
Behaviour:
After school club expects all children who attend to uphold the values and good behaviour that they show when at school. This ensures the club is enjoyed by all children and supports the club staff in their role and duty of care. Any poor behaviour will be logged and reported to parents. Please be aware that persistent poor behaviour could lead to the loss of your child’s place at club.
